Some holiday snapshots, but don't expect names from me. We mostly walked around pretty obliviously, and about the most I can say was that it was in Edinburgh. Possibly on a road whose name started with a G :D
There was a great big wrought-iron chandelier that held little bowls of fuel (and fire) instead of candles, but something went horribly wrong, the firemen were called, and by the time we got there nothing much was left ;~;
Fire sculptures, it was supposed to be. Hollow metal tubes with what counts as a fireplace at one end, spewing out great tongues of flame. There were messages carved out the sides, but I couldn't make out what they were. They made the flames a lot smaller for safety. Supposed to look loads more impressive.
Ah, the view at night down the glorious street that's a branch off the road whose name I think starts with a G :) We were busy in the day-time, so most wandering was done at night~
On the left is Edinburgh castle, the point where the lines of light originate from. On the left was a funfai running opposite Princes street. This view was from a bridge that did not, oddly, cross water.
I'd tell you what building that was, but for the life of me I can't remember >_> It's impressive looking, though.
I have more, but they have to be somewhere else first before I can in good conscience post them here. Gradually will get everything up, maybe~
Edit: This enough, Ryn?
XD It was at least a foot deep of snow. And that's a frozen lake, in the background~
