I'm legit 21 now and my teachers were all man you must be so excited to be a real adult now RIGHT. And I'm like it sure feels like life is a lot duller and less easy and fun than it was when I was twelve /)A(\ Equal parts happy and depressed, really.
Growing old is creepy.
WHAT. I got the plant for free, and she's booooootiful!
She's pretty unpleasant. I've just gotten better at passive aggressively getting my own back. Like when she said I shouldn't be lazy and should clean the toilet twice a day even though I had a half shift. Went up to the loo then took a bloody relaxing thirty minutes polishing the sink while the restaurant was full of people. Because she only instructs me with her heights of stupidity when the restaurant is full of people.
Congratusorry is prob'ly a good middle ground c: I CANNAE SAY HOW NICE IT IS TO HAVE YOU TO REGULARLY TALK TO AGAIN it's been too long aaaaahn
I WILL. ONE DAY. WHEN I'M TRANQUILISED. SHE MAKES MY BLOOD PRESSURE GO THROUGH THE ROOF.
a mother and daughter posting notes for each other on top of the kitchen fridge. the mother finds out she has breast cancer near the start of the book, and the girl is a fifteen year old brat. it's easy to read, but interesting, thankfully c:
