What's the point of holiday pictures if you don't look like an idiot in pretty much all of them
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
HEY BABES.
My plans for university are a mushed up mushy mess, and I'm hoping to talk to my class teacher tomorrow. Keeping abreast of Japanese in itself is bearable, yeah, but keeping abreast of the sciences in Japanese appears to be something that might kindof be seriously seriously hard. As is I now no longer have winter break because of extra classes for Biology, and starting from next year my class hours will be from 9 to 6, I think. With an hour's break in between. So I'm looking into life sciencey subjects being taught in English in Japanese universities; one, it won't be anywhere near so hard (though I've lit. forgotten how to do bloody highschool level Maths right now what is wrong with me), and two it'd make it easier to go for further education abroad (moving around is good for the soul).
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test is on Sunday, and I've studied pretty hard and pretty fiercely. Passing it is still a questionable achievement, though, but at least I know I'm trying.
Knee surgery might be moved up to next month instead of next March, depending on what universities and courses I choose, and what the deadlines are. Not gonna lie, kind of excited.
Still jet-lagged from my week and a half family holiday (oh right I skipped school for two weeks to go to the UK and to visit Paris on a family holiday which we haven't had in damn years! Also even if my job was crap, I've stopped it now citing health reasons, at least a month's wage covered all my expenses yaaaaay) which hasn't been helped by panic over this big-ass exam and just generally bad sleeping habits.
The Great Fish has started sending me messages straight to my phone AND I LOVE GETTING MAIL FROM YOU GUYS. YOU GUUUUUUUUYS. And if you want my address just ask; an e-mail a day keeps a Yu all happy and gay.
Japan's been easier to adjust to than the UK despite the language barrier, thanks mostly to company. My sister and me pretty much stop each other from going literally insane, and my Japanese friends are sweeter 'n sugar and are greatly appreciated.
What elseeeee.
I wish I was a better cook, but I think I'm doing okay. The weather's been pretty crap; according to locals, lately it's as cold as it should only get at the end of December, so hunker down and do your best. Pretty sure I'm well-kitted out with clothes, in terms of thickness, but still. The winds here are so strong. It's the wind crossroads OF THE DAMN WORLD.
Also my ficcage output this year has been abysmal, and I want to write write write great grand things after this big ass exam (for which I hope you will wish me luck) so drop a prompt for our OTP if you feel like it.
There's a test coming up in, oh, twelve hours or so. I've studied for it, but I'm tired now ;~; And haven't added any new songs to my mp3 player in over a month and that's inexplicably more depressing than it should be. It's getting to the level of cold where it's uncomfortable to step on my wooden floors without my indoor slippers, and I'm putting on clothes after a shower in the shower stall itself because it's still hot and steamy (hahaha).
Attempted NaNoWriMo again this year. Failed yet again. But it's a beautiful grand ol' story, so I'm pretty pleased all in all.
As far as I can remember them are the main things WAIT I bought frozen pizza a few days ago and the free gift was a silicon ice cube tray in the shape of little snowman. It's so cute and so ridiculous it breaks my heart. It really does. Also
hakasha how good are you at maths I'm crap at it and this has reminded me to guilt you into studying too.
HOPE EVERYONE'S BEEN WELL.
My soul regret is not buying this pantsuit of penguins. And I wanted to post group pictures but then I was all PRIVACY ISSUES WHAT IF OTHERS HAVE THEM.
Happy End of Novembeeeer.

glad to hear you've been well and pretty busy! and I hope you had fun on your trip =) pity about the NaNoWriMo, though. I would try it myself, except I can't make deadlines to save my life. especially writing deadlines, ugh.
I've been studying! I have! My old maths teacher is a sadist, I spent THREE HOURS doing equations with exponentials and inequations and stuff, it was awful. I'm terrible at maths (especially functions. I don't get functions. AT ALL) but I guess I do okay? I don't know what you guys learn in the last year of high school, but we start with the probability stuff, you know, combinations and permutations and "what's the probability of getting a blue ball out of a bag with 2 blue balls and 3 red ones" and also probability distribution. And then I think the rest is all functions? ugh. Anyway. Yeah. I'VE BEEN STUDYING. HAVE YOU BEEN STUDYING, YU?
P.S. PENGUIN PANTSUIT OH GOD HAHAHAHAHA

it was a grand time c: And I managed to take a day off during it to go meet my British buddies, which was lovely. And evidently deadlines aren't my friends either 8'D
SO PROUD OF YOU. I'm doing graphs and completing squares with my really intense science teacher, and all I could think of was what the hell is this load of balls?! (Anything that involves graphs and logs, man. They'd be the death of me). Last year of high school had a lot of complicated things my brain's chosen to throw in the recycle bin. Probability is okay, though. Statistics was one of my better subjects XD I'VE BEEN STUDYING QUITE HARD EVEN THOUGH I'M A LAZY SOD. SO FAR SO GOOD, YOU AND ME.
P.S. It was too ridic looking to be worn anywhere but the inside of that dressing room orz IF ONLY I WAS A COOLER PERSON.

yay =)
THANK YOU. I actually don't mind graphs all that much? unless they're function related and I have to calculate stuff about them. statistics was better for me too! XD WE'RE GREAT STUDENTS, WE ARE. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU TOO. WE'RE AWESOME.
P.S. you could TOTALLY have pulled it off. i believes in yus ability to be awesome. \o/
HOW DID I NOT REPLY TO THIS *FLAGELLATES SELF*
Statistics are sortof real life problems, so it felt like if I sat there and thought hard enough I could resolve it. THE REST OF THAT SHITTY MATHEMATICLY STUFF THOUGH. GOD. It's like a bloody foreign language.
P.S. You're much too sweet. But I swear this was the first time in the entire history of ever that THE CAMERA ACTUALLY MADE ME LOOK LESS FAT THAN I ACTUALLY AM. Also there's another picture of me doing the Sailor Moon pose but luckily belatedly I remembered that I was supposed to pretend I had shame 8'D
NUUU STOP EEET
anyway, retaking tests sucks. =(
as for my english exam... weeelll... the grammar part went fine, the reading part went... relatively fine, and the rest... um. i suppose i'll know when i see the grade? =/ i still have one more part to go before i'm done with this exam, though! tomorrow is the oral part, the interview... i just hope i don't have to talk about the food industry or something. THEY ALWAYS CHOOSE BORING STUFF FOR US TO TALK ABOUT, IT'S LIKE, HERE, HAVE THIS INCREDIBLY BORING THEME YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT, NOW TALK ABOUT IT LIKE IT'S THE MOST INTERESTING THING EVER.
I'm working on logarithms and stuff now. T_T I HATE MATHS.
Pfff, lies, lies! Don't be silly. Also, 'shame'? What is 'shame'? I don't know that word. Its definition is not in my dictionary, why is it in yours? Please feel free to share all Sailor Moon pose shenanigans from now on (I promise I won't laugh) (much)

Confused. Still doing that job or not?
Hope you can switch some courses around so brain doesn't melt (further).
JLPT may you pass gloriously?
Great Fish?? Nani sore?
Glad knee surgery is a plus (looking forward to it) for you.
Not cold here. Can probably kiss another year bye for seeing any snow on the ground. *very bummed*
Expensive, but you need one of these coats (local company; we build for harsh weather):

I have NO idea how you found time to even ATTEMPT NaNoWriMo oO

Nope, I've quit. It was taking a toll on my health and even if the pay was good I was so damn depressed all the time.
Mmmhmm, will try and meet up with the teacher who helps with admissions to discuss plans.
Thank you! I really would like to pass the exam >A<
It's a friend's nickname C: She sends me e-mails direct to my phone to amuse me!
Surgery's interesting. I'm a sucker for interesting c:
Bawww :c It's still only November, though. It's coldest in January, ain't t?
>A< Babe, those cost more than a month's rent. I think I'll just buy more longjohns, probably.
I got to twenty thousand words :c Always give it a go, every year!

Snowmen ice cubes sound adorable =3 And I would totally wear that print as an apron (I have no patience for getting in and out of any sort of joined-together-type clothing item ^^;;)

BABE WHAT. I love one-piece outfits. They take zero co-ordination, and take up very little space to wash and dry. If I were thinner and prettier that pantsuit would be the only thing I would ever, ever wear!
